England's Commonwealth Walkway was launched by Her Majesty The Queen on 18 April 2018 as part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. The London route is 3 km connecting Buckingham Palace with Marlborough House, the office of the Commonwealth Secretariat, and 9 High Commissions including Cyprus, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, India, Australia and Her Majesty's Government of Gibraltar. The Trust plans to work with each of the High Commissions and government representatives to mark the route in the near future.
A panel, promoting the route and celebrating the whole Commonwealth Walkway programme, can be visited at the Commonwealth Hub on Pal Mall.
The Trust is especially grateful to the J.P Marland Charitable Foundation and the Eranda Rothschild Foundation for their support with this Walkway.
